Description:
Before you start your farm it’s important to consider what your farm partnerships are going to look like. In this video, Kathy Dice of Red Fern Farm shares some insights on how to successfully navigate the long term partnerships that are critical to success in an agroforestry system. We have created a Long-Term Lease Workbook to help you get started with your agroforestry partnership. This workbook is for farmers and landowners who have a long-term vision for Agroforestry on shared land. Read this document for legal considerations for long-term leases that address key particularities of agroforestry. Download the workbook at: http://savannainstitute.org/resources Also stay tuned for more resources and opportunities as we roll out our new Partnership Platform. This platform will help you to find partners and scale up your agroforestry operation.
