Users with no email
Change their email address to firstname-lastname@noemail.sare.org.
Dealing with users whose emails bounced
- If they are with the same organization, update their email to their new email address.
- If they are with a different organization and they have any proposal applications or projects, then create a new account for them with their new organization and assign the new user as a project coordinator to their existing projects.
- If they are no longer with the organization and do not have a valid email address, update their email to firstname-lastname@noemail.sare.org.
- If they do not have any proposal applications or projects, then contact them and update their information.
- Example: They are a reviewer.
Users who have left their organization
There are some cases where you will have a user that is no longer participating in a project, but still must remain on the project.
Example: A faculty advisor who no longer works for the school.
It might be that they should still be listed on the project, but should no longer be contacted. In this case, the email address for that person should be updated to: firstname-lastname@noemail.sare.org.
This allows the system to still function without sending emails to the former participant.
What is noemail.sare.org?

- The system does not send emails to these addresses.
