Description:
This is a pdf file of our winter squash trial varieties (including our cross of San Jose and Waltham), as well as information on storage and taste. From these values, we calculated a resistance value for each variety (as we did in 2017). We did not have nearly the same early DM pressure this season as last (it was drier in May and June 2018), and thus did not lose plants at transplant. All varieties received a 10 for this value. I can also send this as an Excel file if you would like to look at the numbers, but I cannot upload it. It was presented to fellow farmers in 2/19, and we hope to present it to several professors/researchers at the University of Tennessee- Knoxville agricultural department in March 2019.
