The keynote panel at the 2024 Northeast Forest Farming Conference at The Smokey House Center in Danby, Vermont September 6-8, was titled Reciprocity at the Heart of Forest Farming. The panel was facilitated by Tagan Engel and featured panel members Misty Cook M.S. of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians, Dr. John Munsell of Virginia Tech University and the Appalachian Forest Farmer Coalition, and tanama Veras, a farmer, educator, consultant on agroecology, food systems, systems thinking, and global social movements.
