The fact sheet focuses on how to choose the right size for scrubber vessel to ensure that: 1) there is adequate contact time for the H2S to react with the ferric oxide, 2) channeling or short circuiting does not occur, 3) spent media can easily be removed, and 4) the system is large enough to not require overly frequent media changes.
