At 4-H Memorial Camp in Monticello, IL, the Savanna Institute manages a 35-acre alley cropping demonstration farm in partnership with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and 4-H Memorial Camp. Established in 2020, the demonstration features rows of hardwood timber with alleys of annual row-crop rotation managed by a local partner, Lourash Farms.
