The CAES Sustainable Agriculture Newsletter is a quarterly newsletter that reaches over 700 members on our listserv and is also distributed at conferences, workshops and events. Primarily, our readers are farmers, Extension agents and educators, and access to the newsletter is distributed throughout several University of Georgia Departments, listservs, and on social media accounts. The newsletters focus on current, research-based information and contain articles and photographs submitted to us by Extension specialists, county agents, and producers in Georgia. The Fall 2020 edition contained articles on cover crop research, UGA’s Grow It Know It program which brings together educators, students, and Extension personnel to bring gardening into classrooms and make sustainable food accessible, and profiles on UGA’s Sustainable Food Systems Initiative National Needs Fellowship recipients and the work the work they are doing in sustainable agriculture and food systems.
