To simplify the application process for ranchers seeking compensation from CDFW’s Interim Wolf Livestock Compensation Grants Program. CDFW currently has two grants available for ranchers managing wolf-livestock conflict: Livestock Loss Compensation and Deterrence Method(s) Compensation. Note: A confirmed, or probable depredation event alone does not trigger the issuance of compensation. It is the applicant’s responsibility to submit all required paperwork for reimbursement.
