Description:
In this video we set the groundwork for what classical biological control is, what it does, and how it can help manage invasive pests. This is the introduction for the Colorado Department of Agriculture’s Biological Control Series in collaboration with the Western Sustainable Agricultural Research and Education Program. This series covers nine of the most common weed biological control agents in the Western USA, how to identify, collect, sort, release, monitor for establishment and how to incorporate these biocontrols into an integrated weed management plan.
