Description:
This case study summarizes the Whitten Family Farm's project that integrated heat generated in their aerated static pile compost system with an adjacent greenhouse. Heat from the compost facility was captured in the base of the greenhouse providing heat and nutrients. The case study summarizes lessons learned, best practices and recommendations.
