Description:
This is a podcast episode on CAFF's podcast "The Farmers Beet." During this episode we travel to First Rain Farm outside of Nevada City, CA. We learn from Tim about their diverse farm and partnership with CAFF to complete an on-farm research trial during the 2019 growing season on a practice called occultation. Occultation is the use of tarps to minimize weeds in an organic system.
