Description:
Glade Road Growing is a small family farm within the town limits of Blacksburg in Montgomery County, Virginia. Sally Walker and Jason (JP) Pall started the farm operation in 2010, building on their experience with home gardening. They did not grow up on farms but have learned through internships, conferences, reading, YouTube videos, farm visits, and their own experiences over the past 14 years. Although they are not quick to use the term "regenerative" to describe their vegetable production practices and livestock rotations, respect for their soil, water, animals, staff, and customers is always at the forefront of their thinking--along with the idea of growing together with their community.
