							Description:
At Stone Creek Farm in Minnesota, Dan Sheild developed a system for growing organic peaches in high tunnels in Zone 3. His system uses light-proof silage tarps to protect trees from harsh winter conditions. Preliminary results have been promising, with trees producing up to 90 pounds of fruit per tree and surviving outdoor temperatures as low as -35°F.
