Dr. Christina Gish Hill and Emma Herrighty (M.S., M.A) attended the Royal Anthropological Institute: Anthropology and Conservation Virtual Conference during the 25th – 29th of October 2021. The main objective of this conference is to recognize and provide a space for conservation discussion can be held, with Indigenous Peoples at the forefront. Dr. Gish Hill and Emma Herrighty were lead convenors for the panel: “Indigenous Food Sovereignty in the American Corn Belt: Resurgence in the Face of Disruption”.
