Description:
This is an electronic binder that includes many sites of resources needed to begin and sustain a school garden. Because it is a Google Doc, I have been updating it periodically. Therefore, it is a living document that changes for the better each update. This electronic binder is organized into the following sections: EDUCATIONAL SITES WITH FREE INFORMATION, GARDEN DESIGNS/THEMES, PLANTING & MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE, GARDEN BUDGET, FUNDRAISING RESOURCES, VOLUNTEER RESOURCES, BENEFITS OF CHILDREN GARDENING, and LESSONS. The lesson plan section is divided into many topics with resources such as Food Waste, Kids Gardening, Weeds, Winter Gardening, Pest Control, and Composting.
