Video to promote sustainable agriculture practices implemented in Puerto Rico, sponsored by the Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (SARE). This summary highlights the essential role of the Agricultural Extension Service (SEA) of the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez (UPRM), established in 1934, in delivering non-formal, science-based education to farmers, agricultural workers, researchers, and rural communities. It stresses the importance of continuous training on key topics such as climate change adaptation, soil health, biodiversity, pollinators, integrated pest management, and farm management.
