Session five of the Agricultural Solar Electric Investment Analysis Webinar Series draws upon previous sessions including understanding the solar resource production, system cost, value of electricity, and available incentives to conduct a detailed financial analysis. Accurately evaluating the viability of a solar project requires understanding financial concepts such as simple payback, net present value, and the levelized cost of energy. This six-part Agricultural Solar Electric Investment Analysis Webinar Series will provide you with resources and tools to help evaluate photovoltaic solar electric system proposals to make fully informed investment decisions. Although the webinars are geared to an agricultural audience, the information that will be shared applies to anyone looking for information on making a wise solar energy investment.
