Description:
SILVOPASTURE – Part 3 Maintenance and long-term benefits Can livestock and trees survive and thrive in the same pasture? Silvopasture was the focus of a three-year study led by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, on five Pennsylvania farms. The research and this series of tree videos hope to guide farmers on how to get productive trees established in active pastures given predation, livestock damage, limited resources, and more. The study was made possible by a grant from the Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education program.
