Description:
SSARE was displayed at the Producers Advisory Meeting (PAC) Meeting in the Central MS Research & Extension Center. Ms. Libby Durst SSARE Program Assistant for MSSTATE was there giving important information on sustainable agriculture to farmers. The Small Ruminants Commodity Group had a great meeting, thanks to Dr. Lacy for the organization, to the sheep and goat farmers, experienced and beginners wanting to come into the business, thanks for contributing to the great discussion Dr Angeliki Polles, SCKA Sheep Corner, Mrs. Kim VanDevender, Mr. Darryl Byrd of Gulf South Kikos.
Thanks also to Extension Agent Ms. Jennifer Williams from Lincoln County Extension Office for being co-chair of the meeting and bringing in her great experience on sheep and goat farming and 4H and also to Dr. Rocky Lemus and Mississippi Forages, and Farm Bureau and Mr. Ty Jones.
