This Sustainable Horticulture 5E unit includes six fully developed lessons with Google Slides, guided notes, and student activities focused on soil health, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), irrigation systems, plant nutrients, and fire-resistant landscaping. Students explore real-world agriculture science topics including water conservation, fertilizer use, soil testing, pest management, and sustainable landscape design.
Perfect for high school agriculture, horticulture, plant science, environmental science, and CTE Agriculture programs, this unit supports inquiry-based learning and real-world application. Lessons connect students to sustainability practices, environmental stewardship, and careers in horticulture and agriculture industries.
