Description:
Mississippi State University Extension Forage and Livestock Programs continue "Taking Care of What Matters" by providing on-hand training and demonstrations to serve our stockholders. The Small Ruminant Team (Dr. Leyla Rios, Dr. Michael Pesato, DVM, and Dr. Rocky Lemus) conducted a program in Tippah County "Taking the Lab to the Farm." Small ruminant producers had the opportunity to learn about forage selection and grazing management, herd health, and parasite identification and management. Part of the program also included Mr. Brandon Alberson (Tippah Co Extension Ag Agent) and Mr. Skip Glidewell (Prentiss Co Extension Ag Agent).
