Description:
The Pay-for-Phosphorus (PFP) program, was piloted in Vermont with the goals of motivating innovative and site-specific phosphorus reductions and collecting data for TMDL (Total Maximum Daily Load) reporting. This case study is used as an example of data-driven environmental governance to inform the discussion of different dimensions of governance that are critical for a comprehensive anticipatory analysis of the potential impacts of AI technologies in agriculture.
