On April 23, 2022, Iowa Farmer Today, published an article “Three sisters’ offer lessons of sustainability today” where co- PI Dr. Marshall McDaniel was quoted for his expertise with soils in the three sisters growing system. In addition, the photos for the online article were of this project’s research garden at the Horticulture Research Station.
