Description:
First systematic documentation [in Spanish] on the operation of urban farmers that includes active urban gardens and a base-map of the potential lots for urban gardens in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The project has enhanced a learning community among students, planners and local farmers, as well as has reinforced the knowledge exchange among cooperating farmers. As a result, the Network of Urban Urban Gardens in San Juan has been reactivated, where two collaborating farmers were appointed as coordinator and sub-coordinator of the Network.
