These best practices for wells, ponds and other water systems can help you secure a safe, reliable water supply and help to ensure that we protect our streams, lakes and groundwater. One of nine rural resource guidelines to help people living on rural land assess their land and resources, create goals and develop a stewardship plan. The Land Steward Rural Resource Guideline Series publications can be used individually as standalone resources, together to create a Do-It-Yourself stewardship plan, or as part of the Land Steward Curriculum.
