Description:
A watershed-based investigation that helps participants understand how water moves across a landscape and carries soil, nutrients, and other pollutants into streams, rivers, lakes, wetlands, and groundwater. Using a watershed model, participants compare runoff before and after conservation practices are added and explore how individual land-use decisions affect downstream water quality.
