About

Ms. Ellingsworth has been growing food and teaching others how to grow food in Kansas City since 2009. Over those years, she has mentored hundreds of emerging farmers, apprentices, backyard growers, and school children. She co-founded The Farm School at Gibbs Road, Inc. in 2008, and is committed to bringing people of all ages, ancestries, and abilities on-farm, hands-on to connect to land and soil, food, community, and opportunity. In just four years, her team has hosted over 30,000 people visiting the farm.
