About
Dr. Sougata Bardhan is an Assistant Professor of Natural Resource Management at Lincoln University, a historically black 1890 land grant university in Jefferson City Missouri. Dr. Bardhan is trained as a soil microbial ecologist and obtained significant experience investigating the ecological impact of land-use practices and plant community influence in the Missouri River Floodplain. His areas of interest are forest and soil resource management, organic amendments for soil improvement, microbial degradation of xenobiotic compounds in the environment, and ecosystem response to perturbance and human activities in managed and unmanaged ecosystems.
