For the past 22 years, Teresa Matteson has developed a Soil Health Program for the Benton Soil and Water Conservation District. The Soil Health Program serves as a valuable outreach tool to build relationships with landowners and work towards conservation on the ground. Through the Soil Health Program, Benton SWCD works with federal, state, and local partners including NRCS and Oregon State University.
