About
Dr. Rathinasabapathi is a professor of Horticultural Sciences at the University of Florida. His research interests include sustainable production practices and breeding new cultivars of crops improved for resistances to pests, diseases and high temperature stress at the same time improved for nutritional and other quality traits. He employs field research, greenhouse experiments and laboratory research and focuses on two specialty commodities - tea and Capsicums. His expertise is in the areas of genetics, physiology and genomics.
