Dr. Brummer is a plant breeder, working with both agronomic and horticultural crops. He directs a student-led plant breeding project developing vegetables and grains for organic production. He has had crop production and breeding experience in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Iowa, and Oklahoma prior to moving to California in 2014.
