About
Caroline (Carrie) Havrilla is an assistant professor of rangeland ecology and management in the CSU Department of Forest and Rangeland Stewardship. She also directs the Dryland Ecology and Management Lab, which works to understand how biotic interactions, global change, and ecological restoration shape patterns of biodiversity and ecosystem functioning across arid and semiarid (dryland) ecosystems. Carrie works collaboratively with land managers, stakeholders, and rightsholders to support development of effective land management strategies, decision-making, and improved public policy surrounding climate adaptation.
