About
Dr. Meccage is the Extension Forage Specialist and Assistant Professor at Montana State University. Dr. Meccage conducts forage-based research, with her area of interest focused on the animal/ forage interaction, as well as how best forage management practices can be improved to increase animal performance. Dr. Meccage received her B.S. from Pennsylvania State University in 2010, her M.S. from North Carolina State University, and her PhD from University of Minnesota, with all degrees being in the area of animal science. Since starting at MSU, she has traveled all over the state, conducting research projects and workshops designed to help farmers and ranchers on their own operations.
