About
Monika Roth has been working as an agricultural extension educator since 1980. Primary responsibilities: Agriculture Program Leader responsible for leading all CCE Tompkins Ag Extension programming addressing farm and food issues, and ag economic development and marketing. Ms Roth has a Master's Degree in Agriculture Economics from Cornell. She has been responsible for developing numerous new programs in Tompkins and surrounding counties - Finger Lakes Culinary Bounty, Finger Lakes Cheese Trail, work to strengthen the Ithaca Farmers Market and many other markets in the region, Finger Lakes LandLink, Tompkins County Food Network and the Food Policy Council, and in past years - the NY Federation of Farmers Markets and the NYS Farm Direct Marketing Association. She is best known for her work with farmers markets and agritourism.
