About
My research interests include, food safety, host-pathogen interactions, molecular microbiology and pathogenesis, virulence mechanisms, and vaccine and novel antimicrobial development. I hold multiple patents for the application of recombinant fimbrial protein antigen for the diagnosis of Salmonella infection in poultry as well as developing novel antimicrobials for foodborne human, animal and plant pathogens.
