About
Kyle grew up in Central Illinois where he gained experience in residential construction working at the family business. He received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 2008. After flipping a house, he spent 4 years working as a project engineer for Coors in Golden, CO before moving to Maui in 2016 and shifting careers to agriculture. He worked for 1.5 years as the electric fencing specialist at the regenerative ranch/farm Hoku Nui Maui where high intensity rotational grazing was in practice on 180 acres with 200+ cattle, 100+ sheep, and ~1000 chickens. Currently, he runs a 1 acre diversified regenerative farm with sheep and chickens, as well as specializing in greenhouse/hoophouse growing with tomatoes and peppers for sale at the local markets.
