About
Linda Coffey grew up on a diversified livestock farm in mid-Missouri and learned to love nature, the land, livestock, and teamwork while living on the farm and roaming the pastures, woods, creek and branches. She attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and worked on the university sheep farm and earning degrees in Animal Science. After graduation, she raised sheep and children in Kansas and then in Arkansas. Linda has worked for NCAT as a Livestock Specialist since 2000, focusing on sheep, goats, and grazing. She's been fortunate to be part of the American Consortium for Small Ruminant Parasite Control. That group has greatly helped her understanding of internal parasites. Linda is part of the Soil for Water team (soilforwater.org) and is a board member for the Arkansas Grazing Lands Coalition.
