About
Mingla earned her doctoral degree in Agricultural Sciences Education and Communication from Purdue University in Central Indiana. She actively promotes sustainable food systems and education through various projects and teaching in formal and non-formal education. Her main focus is around the area of food systems and the environment and food accessibility. Prior coming to Purdue, she served as the Community Food Systems Coordinator AmeriCorps VISTA at Vermont Technical College. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok and a Master of Arts in Environmental Education from Goshen College in Northern Indiana.
