Nashad is an attorney, consultant, strategist, and urban farmer. He has experience in analyzing organizational preparedness, designing training programs, hosting community events, and developing new systems for Fortune 60 companies, government agencies, and cooperative associations of growers. He is considered an expert in agriculture and business law, commercial transactions, data privacy and technology services. He has led federal, state, and foundation-based grant projects, and collaborated with government agencies, 1890 land-grant institutions, and not-for-profit organizations to develop specialized outreach and training programs for new, beginning, and historically-underserved farmers, value-added producers, private land owners, and community groups.
