About
51 years of entomology study and experience in IPM including arthropods associated with forestry, most deciduous fruits and citrus, pecan, nursery/landscape, medically important pests, etc. Have authored over 450 publications refereed and popular, have held number of IPM leadership positions (ex. Director of the Southern Region IPM Center), served as evaluating member of ~25-30 grant programs, at state, regional and national levels; written or co-written over 200 grant proposals with a 33% career success rate and invented 6 novel insect traps, obtained one patent and 1 submitted, several in preparation.
