About
Dr. Stacia L. Davis Conger is an Associate Professor of Irrigation Engineering at the LSU AgCenter located at the Red River Research Station in Bossier City, LA. She earned her Masters (2008) and Ph.D. (2014) degrees in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from University of Florida. Her research and extension background related to demonstrating the application of smart technologies such as weather-based irrigation controllers and soil moisture sensors for scheduling irrigation in turfgrass-based landscapes. Her current statewide responsibilities include extension (80%) and research (20%) related to irrigation technologies in agriculture, commercial, and landscape applications.
