About
Katie Swanson is the owner/operator of Sweet Union Farm, a small-scale, diversified vegetable farm in the high desert of Klamath Falls, Oregon. At Sweet Union Farm, we believe that vegetables are beautiful, land is to be respected and community is our strength. We are passionate about growing the highest quality vegetables for our community and making them accessible to everyone. We seek balance, intentionality and excellence in all we do ecologically, socially and economically.
Sweet Union vegetables are grown on 2/3 acre using bio-intensive, ecological methods including low-till, drip irrigation and planting pollinator habitat. We provide for 70 CSA members, local restaurants and Klamath Farmers Online Marketplace (KFOM). Katie is part owner of KFOM and heavily involved in food systems work in Klamath County.
