About
Dr. Curran was the extension weed specialist at Penn State University for agronomic crops for 28 years. He had statewide responsibilities for conducting applied research and outreach education in agronomic weed management. Bill specialized in weed management in conservation tillage, cover crop management, new herbicide technology, and weed management in organic cropping systems. Bill retired at the end of 2017 and relocated to Bozeman, MT. Bill continues to remain active in agricultural activities and is an affiliate faculty member in the Dept. of Land Resources and Environmental Sciences at Montana State University.
