Summary
This project will experiment with seeding clover into corn, and seeding wheat and spring oats into soy. The project outcomes will be measured by the density of the cover crops in the seeded areas, and by yields for the following year. The goal is to alleviate the soil compaction that results from no-till agriculture by getting a deep-rooted cover crop established well before winter sets in.
