Summary

held informal meetings with local farmers and individuals supportive of sustainable agriculture and community development. Met with HMI, Holistic management International, Amy Norman and considered the ag town turn around concept for Elgin. The SARE grant was not written to fund this type of project, so determined to find a research consultant with a specialty in agriculture and sustainable agriculture and mapping for work in 2011.
