Use of Acid Reclaimed Mine Land for Commercial Blueberry Production

Objectives/Performance Targets

To find a profitable and sustainable use for portions of large tracts of strip/surface mine lands in southeast Ohio by establishing a blueberry production system. The project will compare six varieties of highbush blueberries, including two each for early season, mid-season and late season production.
