Development of Organic Weed Control Strategies
Summary
This project will address the critical problem of weed control on organic vegetable farms. We will further weed control knowledge by testing and disseminating information about the technique of creating a sterile seedbed and recording, comparing, and attempting to improve current weed control strategies on three different farms. All this is for the later creation of an Organic Weed Control Manuel issued from farmers and Universities in Illinois, Michigan and Indiana.
