Proposal summary:
To complete the circle of sustainablitliy in grassfed bison production, this project will demonstrate the physical and econmic feasibilty of harvesting buffalo with a mobile harvest machine. Buffalo producers across western South Dakota will have the opportunity of having their buffalo killed, evisorated, skinned, and cooled, with nearly no stress to the animals, in the fields where they were raised, and at no cost.
