Rotational Grazing Management Internships

Summary

With management intensive grazing rapidly gaining popularity, education and training of young people cannot be over emphasized.

Objectives: 1) To provide practical experience and training in rotational grazing systems mangement to young farm interns; 2) to document and demonstrate the potential productivity and profitability of utilizing intensive roational grazing managment for raising replacement diary heifers in southeast Wisconsin; and 3) to increase the impact and educational outreach of the rotational grazing research component of the Wisconsin Integrated Cropping Systems Trial.

Results: No results avialble as the project was extended for one year to gather additonal data.
