    Proposal summary:

    This project will help farmers understand the opportunities of direct marketing, and will offer training in niche markets and other innovative marketing techniques. The ultimate goal is to strengthen participation in New York's farmers' market network. The project will include on-farm demonstrations, training in direct marketing, and networking opportunities directed specifically at smaller farms.
